The seventh edition of the Intim Jazz Fest in Banja Luka came to a close tonight with a remarkable performance by three jazz maestros at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center.
The festival concluded with a concert for three pianos performed by Bojan Zulfikarpašić, Matija Dedić, and Vasil Hadžimanov.
Described as a dialogue among three brilliant minds, the performance allowed each artist to share their unique musical story, creating a synergy that transcended individual expressions.
- “Themes intertwined from one piano to the next, rhythms alternated, melodies soared and fused, and improvisations broke the boundaries of style,” stated the Banski Dvor in a press release.
The cultural center noted that the audience’s reaction ranged from moments of being mesmerized by the sight of hands dancing across the keys to erupting in long ovations for the extraordinary music created by the trio.
- “We can proudly say that the Banski Dvor was filled with an infinite richness of sound and harmony emanating from three hearts beating in the same jazz rhythm,” the statement added.
This year’s festival was supported by the Office of the President of Republika Srpska and the City of Banja Luka.
Following the successful organization of the International Festival of Artistic Music Autumn Sonata, this is the second festival hosted by the Banski Dvor Cultural Center this year.
