The victory of Republican candidate Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election is an opportunity for Republika Srpska and the entire Western Balkans, stated political scientist Davor Strika.
“Trump’s victory brings benefits to the Western Balkans and sovereignist leaders,” Strika said on our Morning Program, noting that the Democrats have not brought anything positive to these regions.
He added that Trump’s rhetoric and actions during his first term were more moderate, focused on national issues and addressing the accumulated problems facing the United States, which he expects to continue in this new term.
Strika emphasized that we are shifting from a unipolar world to a new world with several major world powers with whom the U.S. will have to cooperate.
