A meeting of writers from Russia and Republika Srpska will take place today in East Sarajevo, with the primary focus on discussing the past and present of Russian and Serb literature.
The main speakers will be authors Olga Novikova and Marijana Petronić, according to a statement from the National Library of East Sarajevo, which is co-organizing the event with the Russian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Novikova is a Russian writer and the deputy head of the prose department at the literary magazine “New World.”
Petronić is a Serb writer from Republika Srpska and a librarian at the National Library of East Sarajevo.
On this occasion, the Association of Writers and Publishers of Russia will present the National Library with a collection of contemporary Russian literary works.
The event will be held in the internet reading room of the National Library of East Sarajevo at 4:00 PM.
