Today, the farce in the politically staged trial against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Acting Director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, Miloš Lukić, will continue before the Court of BiH, stated Staša Košarac, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
He added that even legal laymen can see that this is a setup.
“This is a classic setup against the legitimate and democratically elected President Dodik, who performed his duties in accordance with the Constitution, refusing to submit to the whims of the false High Representative Schmidt. This exhausting, senseless, and unjust trial over a non-existent criminal offense is being conducted under the direction of the outgoing U.S. Ambassador Murphy and the phantom from the OHR, Schmidt. This bizarre duo is driving the political persecution of President Dodik, undermining all legal norms, the Dayton framework, and the sovereignty of BiH. Their actions are extremely dangerous and have serious consequences for the internal relations in BiH,” Košarac stated on Instagram.
The farcical trial before the Court of BiH, Košarac says, is the result of the obsession and personal frustrations of Schmidt and Murphy.
“Murphy is soon leaving BiH and will be remembered solely as a great diplomatic disgrace for the U.S. I hope that the new U.S. administration and its representative in BiH will pursue a policy of respecting the views of legitimately elected representatives of the constituent peoples,” Košarac concluded.
