Dositej Petković, an enthusiast and humanitarian from Banja Luka, is embarking today on a challenging 450-kilometer walk to raise funds for the treatment of little Sergej.
His journey begins in Banja Luka and will take him all the way to San Marino.
Before setting off, Petković told RTRS that he is filled with emotions.
“I have been mentally preparing for this for about 20 days to a month. Regarding physical preparation, I did an 80-kilometer test walk. I was supposed to do a 160-kilometer one, but I couldn’t fit it into my schedule. I should be ready, and I hope everything goes smoothly,” Petković said.
Petković mentioned that he researched and planned the route, which will take him about ten days to complete.
“I’m ready now, and I’m starting. There is a link where you can buy kilometers, and it is posted on all my social media and on the Facebook page of Sergej’s mother, Svetlana Bendaš. If you want to help, click on the link, and it will immediately show you where to buy kilometers. The process is very simple—you choose the number of kilometers, pay with a card, and that’s it,” emphasized Petković.
