Everything is ready for the twelfth edition of the Freshwave Festival at the Banja Luka fortress Kastel. The gates will open at 7 PM today, and the festival camp will be open until August 4!
Continuing its steady growth, Freshwave offers its audience not only performances from some of the most sought-after global and regional music stars but also a unique festival experience through innovative and spectacular visual and pyrotechnic displays, top-quality sound, the best stages, and rich content across festival zones. The festival also boasts a modern campsite and numerous tourist attractions in the city of Banja Luka.
Freshwave 2024 is scheduled to take place at Kastel from August 1 to 3. Headliners and co-headliners for this year’s edition include Who See, Tsunami Flo, Z++, Hiljson Mendela, Grše, Vojko V, Zhiva, Dante, Jymenik, Hot Since 82, Adana Twins, Konstantin Sibold, Rakon, Drunken Kong, Coeus, and the famous Nine 999999999. The lineup and schedule for performances on the festival’s LIVE stage have been announced, promising unforgettable shows and perfect memories.
More than a hundred performers will take the stage across six festival stages: LIVE, Main, Energy, Nirvana, Funk You, Camp Stage, and the additional daytime Riverside Stage over the next three days, attracting visitors from more than 30 countries around the world.
At the city’s “Naša Plaža” Sitari on the left bank of the Vrbas River in the Srpske Toplice neighborhood of Banja Luka, a warm-up event awaits you before the festival evenings at the Kastel fortress on August 1, 2, and 3, from 11 AM to 7 PM. Entry is free for all visitors, featuring performances by regional artists who will also take the stage during the twelfth edition of the Freshwave Festival.
In celebration of the new festival edition, you’re invited to join us at the festival camp by the walls of the Kastel fortress on the left bank of the Vrbas River. Designed for complete enjoyment and as the epicenter of the best festival content, the camp will be available for free from July 31 to August 4 to all those who purchase a three-day festival ticket.
A note for all visitors: payments at the festival will be made via a CashLess system (contactless payment system). VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to the festival’s VIP zone located near the Main Stage, offering the best position at the festival, top-notch catering services, a cocktail bar, private tables, and separate restroom access, all within a limited-capacity area to ensure maximum comfort.
Tickets for all festival types are still available for purchase at Banja Luka’s Trg Krajine, the ticket point at the entrance to the Kastel fortress, via the ticket service kupikartu.ba, and at physical sales points across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
