In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, electricity prices will increase by 10.04 percent for households and by 7.29 percent for other consumer categories starting Thursday, August 1.
The Energy Regulatory Commission in the Federation of BiH approved the request from Elektroprivreda BiH to increase electricity prices at the end of June.
General Director of Elektroprivreda BiH, Sanel Buljubašić, stated at the time that they need financial resources to maintain power plants, thermal power plants, and hydroelectric plants, ensuring these facilities are maximally prepared to meet customer demands.
According to him, there is a legal basis for this decision.
