The repeated statements from the U.S. Embassy in BiH on the platform X further confirm what we have been saying all along, which is the constant media spin and undermining of the reputation of the authorities in Republika Srpska, said Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković.
Višković emphasized, “The question arises as to what the role of an embassy in any country is, even if it is BiH, and the answer is more than clear – everything contrary to what the U.S. Embassy in BiH is doing.”
“These media spins by the mentioned embassy are nothing more than a violent attempt to create a negative public image regarding the financial stability of Republika Srpska and its political leadership. I fully understand the efforts of the officials of the U.S. Embassy in BiH, as they have the complex task of fighting lies against facts and the awareness of the people, which is more than capable of understanding the true state of affairs versus media spins and the Western propaganda system based on lies. It is not easy for them, neither professionally nor morally,” Višković stated.
Višković highlighted that “it is important to note that all the details publicly presented by the leadership of Republika Srpska regarding its financial stability are publicly available on the websites of the Government of Republika Srpska and the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, making them accessible, transparent, and verifiable.”
“Additionally, the attempts to block financial flows by the U.S. are nothing more than a crude demonstration of power in the form of a certain monopoly in the financial market, which ultimately reflects and leads to the violation of basic human rights,” Višković stated.
To recall, the U.S. Embassy in BiH issued a new criticism of the authorities in Republika Srpska, again questioning, “where is the money that Srpska borrows.”
