Dodik: The problem of BiH has never been Republika Srpska

The problem of Bosnia and Herzegovina has never been Republika Srpska, but rather the radical structures with questionable wartime biographies that represent the Bosniaks, said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

He emphasized that in any other country, members of structures that were connected with mujahideen would never be allowed to sit in institutions.

“But such individuals sit and often make decisions here; they are present in every pore of society in BiH. The result of such a situation, where those who should be judged by all accounts have a say, is that everything is blocked wherever decisions are made at the joint level. One of the key issues that would bring us closer to the European path is the final resolution of the issue of foreigners leaving the Constitutional Court,” Dodik noted.

He stressed that the Bosniaks do not allow this issue to be resolved.

“Just as they do not want solutions on any other issue. We had expectations that the representatives of the ‘Trojka’ would respect the agreement; we have jointly fulfilled most of the priorities set by the European Commission, which has been recognized in the European Union. Then, within the ‘Trojka’ representatives, the same SDA faction that previously blocked everything re-emerged, and we know that the newly formed parties among the Bosniaks, which are now in power, originated from their ranks. There are many deeply compromised individuals who do not want the progress of Dayton BiH. With such a composition, it is hard to expect BiH to go anywhere,” the President of Srpska stated.

He highlighted that accusations regarding the Growth Plan and everything else are lies and fabrications.

“Bosniaks do not want the EU; the only thing they want is an Islamic unitary state in the heart of Europe, and that is why they block everything they can, including the agreement on the operation of Serbian helicopters during the tourist season,” Dodik believes.

He recalled that Deutsche Welle also wrote about BiH and the radicalization of Muslims these days.

“This is a burning issue, but in BiH, no Bosniak wants or dares to talk about it. If we close our eyes to the truth, the problems can only get worse. Therefore, I call on all Bosniak representatives to start addressing the serious challenges we have and to stop with constant accusations and lies against Serbia. While they are engaged in preventing the deployment of Serb helicopters to help both Serbs and Bosniaks, radicalism is gaining more and more ground, precisely thanks to their behavior and inflammatory politics, which is fertile ground for the growth of extremist movements,” Dodik concluded.
