No one can ever break Republika Srpska, said Nenad Popović, Minister without Portfolio in the Government of Serbia, responsible for international economic cooperation and the position of the church in the country and abroad.
Popović emphasized that Republika Srpska was created by the firm and unwavering will of the Serbian people to survive in that territory and live freely and safely.
- Such a strong people’s will, to have their own Republika Srpska, can never be broken. The importance of Srpska for the entire Serb nation was especially highlighted at the All-Serb Assembly in Belgrade – Popović stated for Večernje Novosti.
Responding to the question of whether Russia would act differently today than in 1999 when NATO attacked Serbia, Popović said that Putin, who is a true friend of the Serbs, would not have allowed the destruction and aggression by NATO to happen at all.
