In anticipation of the arrival of the new U.S. ambassador to BiH, we express hope for the resumption of affirmative and good cooperation in achieving progress and stability in BiH, wrote the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, on his X account.
“With the current ambassador, Michael Murphy, this was not possible as his approach was biased and partisan, favoring the Bosniaks. He introduced an unacceptable level of personal animosity and hatred towards Serbs and Republika Srpska,” emphasized Dodik.
Dodik stated that “the Dayton Peace Agreement is among the most important international documents, and its creation and implementation were impossible without the mediation of the American side.”
“Understanding the processes, circumstances, and specific relations that accompany political life in BiH is key to the support of the entire international community for preserving the Dayton principles, which underpin peace, prosperity, and stability in BiH and the region. We welcome and look forward to cooperation based on mutual respect and non-interference in internal matters by diplomats in BiH,” Dodik stated.
