Clark wants to shape the future of the Balkans again

The Serb people are committed to peace, stability, and cooperation, but will not allow their rights to be violated or agree to the disintegration of Serbia and Republika Srpska. This is the response from Banja Luka and Belgrade to the latest anti-Serb propaganda. The latest attack comes from retired American General Wesley Clark.

In the midst of anti-Serb hysteria, new fabricated accusations are coming from the West. Speaking about justice and law, the former American general, who commanded NATO’s bombing of Serbia in 1999, during which 2,500 people were killed in 78 days, has now weighed in. The decision to bomb the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was made, for the first time in history, without the approval of the UN Security Council. Appearing with Albin Kurti on CNN, Clark called Serbia an extension of Russia and labeled Serbs as the main destabilizing factor in the Balkans.

“Vučić will seek Putin’s permission. He wants to take at least the northern half of Kosovo, maybe more, and at the same time he wants to break up Bosnia and Herzegovina and, together with Republika Srpska, recreate Greater Serbia. It’s all about ethnic cleansing in the Balkans. We thought NATO had stopped that,” said Clark.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia is neither a Russian nor an American player and will never be. Before he starts talking about violence and aggression, Clark should remember and apologize to all Serbian families whose lives he forever changed with the crimes he committed, says the president of Serbia.

“Clark left his indelible mark on the Balkans. Unfortunately, that mark was neither roads nor railways, nor support for anyone, but the killing of our people, our children. These are historical facts and they will not change. I am glad that they enjoy attacking Serbia, which means that we have strengthened and grown stronger, and that they have to resort to untruths,” said Vučić.

Those who have blood on their hands from Serbs, children, and who bombed Serb children, still believe they haven’t harmed Serbia and the entire Serbian people enough, stated Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Radovan Kovačević.

“When you talk about Serbia wanting four municipalities in Kosovo, or that Serbia wants to break up Bosnia and Herzegovina, this is again nothing more than preparation for certain types of international interventions, whether military or political, against Serbia, Republika Srpska, and the entire Serb people. What has obviously triggered a new wave of anti-Serb propaganda, Serbophobia that is flourishing in Sarajevo, Pristina, and many other addresses – in Brussels and Washington, is the All-Serb Assembly and the Declaration that was adopted,” said Kovačević.

From Republika Srpska and Serbia, they state that the declaration adopted at the All-Serb Assembly is not directed against anyone. It is clear from this document that Serbia and Republika Srpska advocate for peace, stability, cooperation, but also for the protection of the rights of Serbs, wherever they are.
