Musical virtuoso Stjepan Hauser opened the “Banjaluka Fest” last night, once again proving why he is rightfully considered the best cellist in the world.
The concert, held at the packed Kastel Fortress, thrilled the people of Banja Luka, who enjoyed every note and the spectacle provided by the artist.
Hauser greeted the people of Banja Luka and expressed his happiness to be there tonight.
“Good evening, Banja Luka. This is my first time in Banja Luka, and I am excited to finally be here. I have a lot of songs for you, so please stay with me until the end, as I have prepared something a little slower and more romantic to start with, and I hope you won’t leave. Then the madness will follow. Enjoy!” said Hauser.
The audience enthusiastically followed his every move, rewarding him with thunderous applause.
The first part of the concert was dedicated to enjoying classical and film music pieces, such as “Caruso” and “Shape of My Heart,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and then the atmosphere reached its peak when Hauser played “Let’s Get Loud,” “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” “Despacito,” “Señorita,” and other Latin hits.
He even sang the song “Sway,” which further delighted the audience.
Banja Luka will surely remember for a long time the spectacle and emotion that Hauser brought, and the festival will continue today with a performance by “Bijelo Dugme,” followed by Jelena Tomašević and Ivan Bosiljčić the day after.
