In the parish center at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Prijedor, the spiritual-love novel “Sun in the Heart” by author Tatjana Ostojić was promoted. Ostojić mentioned that during the writing process, she realized that the greatest value lies in a person with a good heart, a clean conscience, and full of sincerity.
Ostojić told reporters that the novel contains about forty short stories.
“I used my imagination and turned it into words, also incorporating some of my spiritual experiences. I believe that by reading spiritual literature, we discover ourselves and recognize true values that lie in the spirit and soul, not in material things,” Ostojić emphasized.
This artist from Prijedor, also known to her fellow citizens for painting and iconography, highlighted that her literary debut has given her wings and that she will continue to write, already having a title for her next book.
“I also paint, using oil on canvas, and create icons. I write icons with oil paints on wood, and recently I started making and applying icons on MDF,” Ostojić stated.
Protonamesnik Dragan Hrvaćanin said that Ostojić is primarily a believer, a good person, and a Christian, and that they gathered tonight to support her.
“And that on the great holiday of the Ascension of the Lord, in the premises of the Parish Center, which is under construction and where this is the first cultural event,” Hrvaćanin pointed out.
Željko Šormaz from the Association for the Preservation of Tradition, one of the book’s publishers, said that this association exists to serve citizens who want to express their skills, regardless of their age, talents, and inclinations.
“We are here to support them, as well as our Tatjana, whose work is unique. I believe that people who think deeply in faith will be satisfied with what they will be able to read in this work,” Šormaz concluded.
