Dodik responds to US Embassy: Only what is written in Dayton matters

The statements from the US Embassy are increasingly nonsensical and absurd, said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

“I am seriously concerned for Murphy. This is utterly ridiculous. What does O’Brien and his opinion matter? We didn’t sign O’Brien; we signed the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik stated on the social network X, commenting on the response from the US Embassy in Sarajevo to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

Dodik emphasized that the only relevant point is what is written in the Dayton Agreement, which clearly states that property belongs to the entities.

“And that’s it. The Constitutional Court is not a constitution-maker but an interpreter of the Constitution. And that’s it. I once said it would be good for Murphy to read the Dayton Agreement. More and more, it seems to me that he hardly reads it at all,” Dodik concluded.
