Delegate of the Serb Club in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Radovan Kovačević, emphasized that the address by the member of the BiH Presidency from Republika Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, at the UN Security Council session undoubtedly made every person from Republika Srpska proud.
“The fact that Cvijanović, although her presentation was completely argumentative and based solely on facts, openly emphasized that she speaks on her own behalf as there is no agreement from the other two members of the BiH Presidency, is a true example of respecting the BiH Constitution and responsible statesmanship, something Denis Bećirović, Elmedin Konaković, or Zlatko Lagumdžija never demonstrated.
At the same time, while Lagumdžija had the audacity to shamelessly criticize the Serbian member of the Presidency, without whose consent he wouldn’t even be allowed to speak at the mentioned session. Or anywhere else. Of course, in a case where he would respect the BiH Constitution and BiH itself, to which he and his sponsors otherwise swear allegiance,” Kovačević posted on the social network X.
He noted that the lies and manipulations of Christian Schmidt, who tried to prove something we all know isn’t true with a flag and a plaque with a name, are not even worthy of comment.
“What ultimately prevails as the key impression from last night’s session is that currently Republika Srpska is the only entity ready to respect and protect the BiH Constitution and constitutional BiH. Others, just to harm Serbs and Republika Srpska, are ready for anything, even trampling over BiH. They should be careful, they might even succeed,” Kovačević concluded.
