President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, told RTRS that the Serbian people will never accept the narrative of political Sarajevo and parts of the international community regarding the alleged genocide in Srebrenica.

From St. Petersburg, Dodik stated that pushing the Srebrenica resolution in the UN General Assembly is a move towards the peaceful dissolution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The claim that the resolution will facilitate reconciliation is a vile lie. It is a fabrication that reveals a propagandistic intent and nothing more. We are simply asking for respect for the letter of the Dayton Agreement and the Constitution,” said Dodik.

He pointed out that Republika Srpska does not want to accept their continuous violation of regulations.

“The situation will dramatically change after May 2nd. Whether we like it or not. In our mutual relations, it will be a Great Wall. We do not want to share the air with Bosniaks, let alone other values. You are pushing a label of a genocidal nation onto an entire people, well aware that it did not exist, that is, that it did not happen that way,” Dodik noted.

It is a reminder that President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is in St. Petersburg attending the International Security Forum.

The forum features leaders and officials from over 120 countries, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will address them via video link.

Today, President Dodik met with Nikolai Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Russia will not support the Srebrenica resolution

The resolution on Srebrenica will not be supported by Russia, stated President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik after a meeting in St. Petersburg with Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

“Russia is making efforts to gather friends and explain what the resolution, which the Bosniak side wants to push through in the UN General Assembly, is about,” said Dodik.

He highlighted that the Russian side believes that the resolution could destabilize the relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Only those who do not want good relations can insist on this at a global level. The claim that the resolution will facilitate reconciliation is a vile lie. It is a fabrication that shows propagandistic intent,” said Dodik for RTRS from St. Petersburg.

Also, the President of Republika Srpska emphasized that for Russia, Christian Schmidt is illegal.

“For Russia, Schmidt is illegal. This is very important to us,” emphasized Dodik.
