Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, has arrived in Banja Luka.
He was welcomed at the International Airport by the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković.
Tonight, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, is also set to arrive and will be greeted by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
A reception in front of the Palace of Republika Srpska is scheduled for tomorrow, followed by a one-on-one meeting between President Dodik and Orbán.
Meetings at the Palace of Republika are planned, including discussions between BiH’s Serb member of the Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, and the Minister of Science, Technology Development, and Higher Education, Željko Budimir with Szijjártó, as well as a meeting between Prime Minister Višković and Minister of Finance Zora Vidović with the Hungarian Minister of Economic Development, Márton Nagy.
The ceremonial awarding of decorations to Orbán is also anticipated. On the occasion of Republika Srpska Day – January 9, Dodik awarded Orbán with the Order of Republika Srpska on a sash.
Additionally, a meeting between the delegations of Republika Srpska and Hungary at the Government of Republika Srpska, followed by the opening of the Economic Forum, is scheduled.
