“The mayor of Sokolac, Milovan Bjelica, will hold a meeting in Banja Luka with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, regarding the construction of the fast road Bijeljina – Sokolac.
“I am pleased to accept the invitation from the president regarding the commencement of the realization of a project of strategic interest not only for the eastern part of Republika Srpska but beyond as well. By implementing this project, we will have quality connectivity in Republika Srpska and with Serbia,” stated Bjelica.
As announced by the Sokolac municipality’s office, Bjelica will acquaint Dodik with the municipal development strategy, the plans and preparations for establishing a free trade zone, designing the third lane across Romanija, initiating the construction of a tourist resort in Ravna Romanija, the construction schedule for power generation facilities, and facilities for purifying drinking and waste water, along with the implementation of projects in the fields of culture and energy efficiency.”
