Rod Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois and a close associate of U.S. President Donald Trump, assessed that political Sarajevo, under the influence of Iran, is denying Serb Christians freedom of religion in the heart of Europe.
On X, he posted a video from the archives of the consulting company “RBB Strategies LLC,” raising the question of whether political Sarajevo is now officially turning Bosnia and Herzegovina into an Islamic country, despite the fact that the majority of people living in BiH are not Muslims, but Christians.
The video points out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers is replacing diplomacy with Islamic ideology.
- The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković, recently hosted an iftar and invited foreign diplomats to a Ramadan event within state institutions, at the highest level – the narrator states.
The video also highlights claims that the Ministry supports only the religious interests of Bosniaks.
- There are numerous examples. On Fridays, which are legally regular working days in BiH, they refuse to provide any services, as employees leave their workplaces to go to the mosque – it is stated in the video.
It further emphasizes that Bosnia and Herzegovina is constitutionally a secular state, but that political Sarajevo is, through its actions, turning it into an Islamic country.
- Muslim politicians in BiH have sought ways to establish dominance over Christians since the war in the 1990s, when the then U.S. Democratic administration supported the Islamic agenda in BiH and bombed Orthodox Serbs – the video claims.
The narrator concludes that Bosniak politicians are attempting to use institutions to achieve what they could not during the war.
