The award for Best Actress at the 25th theatre festival “Days of Comedy” in Bijeljina was presented to Slađana Zrnić for her roles in the play Behind Those Eyes, produced by the Jazavac City Theatre.
Zrnić, a leading actress of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska, delivered a notable performance in this production, earning recognition from the jury at one of the most important theatre festivals dedicated to comedy in Republika Srpska. In addition to her engagement with the national theatre, she has been a long-time collaborator of the Jazavac City Theatre.

The play Behind Those Eyes is the latest premiere on the Evening Stage of the Jazavac City Theatre. The piece was written and directed by Nebojša Cile Ilić and brought together a cast including Željko Stjepanović, Slađana Zrnić, Aleksandar Stojković, Nataša Perić, Ljubiša Savanović, Ana Vinčić, Isidora Davidović, and Miodrag Jovanović.
Through acting and stage expression, the play presents a dynamic story that combines elements of comedy and contemporary drama, which was recognized at the “Days of Comedy” festival, where its lead actress received the award.

The play Behind Those Eyes continues its festival run, as the Jazavac City Theatre will present it at this year’s Republika Srpska Theatre Festival “Ljubica” in Gradiška.
For a quarter of a century, the “Days of Comedy” festival in Bijeljina has brought together numerous theatres from the region and represents an important platform for the promotion of theatrical art, while the award for Best Actress further confirms the quality and strength of Slađana Zrnić’s performance.
