Vrbas handball players defeated Sloga from Prnjavor today, 30–21, in the derby of Round 12 of the Second League of Republika Srpska, “West,” and thus took sole possession of first place in the standings.
This is the 10th victory for the Banja Luka side, who, with five rounds remaining, have a two-point advantage over Borac m:tel 2 and Sloga, with Borac also having a game in hand.
In the win against the Prnjavor team, Sarić stood out for Vrbas with six goals, while Mitrović scored five.
