The leader of Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, Milorad Dodik, stated in an interview for RIA Novosti that Republika Srpska firmly supports Vladimir Putin, Russia, and what he referred to as the “special military operation.”
“Our support has, from the very beginning, been on the side of President Putin, his team, the Russian Federation, and the Russian people. The special military operation received support from our people from the start… These positions are deeply rooted in us and will continue to live on—we remain firmly committed to supporting President Putin and Russia in achieving the goals of the operation,” Dodik said.
He also noted that he considers it his duty to attend the Victory Day parade in Moscow.
“The reason for going is a patriotic duty and support for the struggle against those who seek to revise history and spread confusion among young people through the media. For me, it is always a great honor to be there on the day marking the great victory over fascism, in which the Russian people made the greatest contribution,” Dodik added, as reported by RT Balkan.
