The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, Milorad Dodik, stated that Republika Srpska must never be abandoned, emphasizing that Bosnia and Herzegovina is “an illusion.”
“Illusions always collapse suddenly; there is nothing worse than advocating for an illusion that is falling apart,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
He added that, in his view, nothing in Bosnia and Herzegovina functions and described it as a “collapsed country.”
“Despite the sacrifices, we have remained persistent in defending our victims and our unity,” Dodik said.
Dodik also recalled that last year he attended the commemoration of Victory in Europe Day, marking May 9, 1945, when the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany came into force, officially ending World War II in Europe, adding that this year the situation is different.
