Orbán: Dodik has earned the highest title; survived USA sanctions, pressure from Germany and Bosnian harassment

Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán stated that Milorad Dodik has “earned the highest title,” emphasizing that he has endured U.S. sanctions, pressure from Germany, and what he described as political harassment from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Believe me, dear friends, we would collapse if we had to endure even half of what Dodik has gone through. But he succeeded—and thank you, Milorad, for being with us today,” Orbán said during his address at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Budapest, which Dodik also attended.

Orbán also extended a warm welcome to Dodik.

The opening session featured remarks by Miklós Szánthó and Matt Schlapp. Speakers also included:

  • Irakli Kobakhidze
  • Andrej Babiš
  • Péter Szijjártó
  • Gergely Gulyás
  • Dave Rubin

The program also includes panel discussions and Q&A sessions with participants such as Eduardo Bolsonaro, as well as appearances by Geert Wilders, Mateusz Morawiecki, and Santiago Abascal.

The conference will conclude with speeches by Alice Weidel, André Ventura, and Javier Milei.

CPAC Hungary is one of the most significant international gatherings of conservative leaders and organizations, originally established in the United States by the American Conservative Union, serving as a platform for networking and exchange of conservative political ideas.
