Dodik: Europe has lost a significant part of its political and economic capacity

Milorad Dodik stated that Europe has lost a significant portion of its political and economic capacity, adding that political leaders are facing declining support within their own countries.

Speaking ahead of the premiere of the documentary film Ishod, Dodik assessed that Europe is currently going through a serious crisis, particularly highlighting a lack of clear leadership.

He critically referred to the structure of European leadership, including Ursula von der Leyen and Kaja Kallas, stating that Europe is not adequately positioned to respond to global challenges.

According to Dodik, Europe needs a profound transformation of its international position, as well as new approaches in politics and diplomacy.

He pointed out that political leaders such as Emmanuel Macron and the current German chancellor are facing declining domestic support, adding that similar trends are visible among political leaders in United Kingdom.

“European leaders today lack sufficient political stability and a clear strategy for addressing key problems,” Dodik said.

He also emphasized that the leadership of Republika Srpska understands current global developments, including Russia’s actions, and reiterated that Republika Srpska has refused to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation or align with Brussels’ policies on that issue.

“Republika Srpska has refused to participate in joint Western platforms that negatively assess the situation in Russia,” Dodik stated.
