Minister of agriculture, forestry and water management of Republika Srpska Anđelka Kuzmić said that Hungary continues to invest in the modernization of agriculture in Republika Srpska and that this cooperation is already producing visible results.
She stated that farmers and processors in Republika Srpska will be able to apply, starting tomorrow and over the next month, to a public call for the allocation of agricultural machinery co-financed by the Government of Hungary, with grants covering up to 70 percent of the investment value.
“Domestic farmers and processors will be able to purchase new machinery, equipment, and tools, thereby improving their production,” Kuzmić said, adding that Republika Srpska will continue investing in the modernization of agriculture and strengthening the competitiveness of domestic producers.
She emphasized that it is particularly important that the support is available to a wide range of beneficiaries, ranging from 2,500 to 25,000 euros per project, enabling both smaller farms and processors to invest.
“This is another concrete example of cooperation between Republika Srpska and Hungary that is producing visible results and contributing to the development of agriculture, the introduction of modern technologies, and better working conditions for our producers,” Kuzmić said.
