Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Radovan Kovačević and former acting president of Republika Srpska Ana Tršić Babić met in Budapest with Péter Szijjártó during the opening of the Balkan Forum.

“At the opening of the Balkan Forum in Budapest, Ana Tršić Babić and I met with the Hungarian foreign minister and great friend of Republika Srpska, Péter Szijjártó,” Kovačević wrote on X.

On that occasion, Szijjártó once again emphasized that Republika Srpska is an important factor in the region that deserves respect and with which Hungary plans to further deepen cooperation.

“Tršić Babić and I conveyed to Szijjártó and the Hungarian government, led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, greetings from Milorad Dodik and wished them every success, with a mutual belief that our cooperation in the future will become even more comprehensive,” Kovačević added.

The Balkan Forum conference is currently being held in Budapest, organized by the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs.

According to Kovačević, Ana Tršić Babić will participate in a panel discussion titled “Building a Stable and Secure Region through Strategic Connectivity,” while he will speak on the topic “Family, Migration and Paths to a Resilient Future.”
