Milorad Dodik, president of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), said that Republika Srpska will always stand with its friends and allies in Israel, with whom it has shared both good and bad throughout history—from the Middle Ages, through Jasenovac and Gradina, to the present day.
“Israel and we share an existential threat posed by radical Islam and the policies derived from it. That is why today I express full support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Any action aimed at preserving the security of the State of Israel and the Jewish people is justified and understandable,” Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik recalled that Republika Srpska emerged from a struggle against forces that opposed it with manpower, weapons, ideology, and radicalism coming from Iran.
“For decades, I have pointed to Iran’s influence on the radicalization of the situation here, as well as to the parallel processes of attempts to seize the property of Republika Srpska while granting Iran everything through the wide-open doors of Sarajevo. Direct support from Iran to Alija Izetbegović and the arrival of uninvited terrorists from Iran to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the Serb people, along with the installation of more than 400 officials in the Iranian embassy in Sarajevo to spread radical Islam, led to the formation of a terrorist camp in Sarajevo, Pogorelica, where Islamic terrorists were trained and later recruited for the September 11 attacks in the United States and across Europe,” Dodik stated.
He also emphasized that Donald Trump demonstrates that the U.S. president is committed to protecting Judeo-Christian civilization, its security, and its way of life.
“He deserves full support at a moment when he is using American power to address the root causes of instability and conflict in the world—precisely those that threaten both Israel and us. I regret the suffering of civilians on all sides and expect a rapid de-escalation and a return to dialogue,” Dodik concluded.
