Judokas from Republika Srpska delivered an outstanding performance at the Serbia championships, winning numerous medals for their new teams and demonstrating that a bright future lies ahead of them.
Former members of Famos secured three medals at the Serbia championships. Igor Vračar became champion in the +100 kg category, Lana Lubura claimed the runner-up position in her category, while Vuk Elez won bronze in the -81 kg division.
Former members of Randori were also successful. Competing for Red Star, Lazar Ždrale won silver in the -100 kg category, while Darko Topalović took bronze in the -73 kg division.
Vidak Maljević also won silver in the +100 kg category, losing in the final to Vračar.
Once again, this confirmed that competitors from Republika Srpska represent great potential in this sport and that strong results can certainly be expected from them in the future.
