Delegation of Republika Srpska with Karoline Leavitt

Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović, and the acting president of Republika Srpska Ana Trivišić Babić met at the White House with Karoline Leavitt, press secretary to U.S. President Donald Trump.

Dodik wrote on X that they had a very good conversation with Leavitt at the White House.

“The policy of President Trump, which is returning America to the principles of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, the clearly proclaimed abandonment of nation-building projects, and the fact that he uses strength to preserve and achieve peace rather than to produce chaos, brings new stability to global relations,” Dodik wrote.

He added that Trump’s rational and pragmatic approach, in which partners are valued by how much they respect agreements rather than by whom they can be used against, represents a shift that gives hope that the world is entering a calmer and more responsible phase of international politics.

“Republika Srpska has always been an advocate of such a policy,” Dodik stated.
