Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić and the leader of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, are attending the Saint Sava Academy and Ball in Budapest, organized by the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary in cooperation with the Eparchy of Buda.
The academy opened with the anthems of Republika Srpska, Serbia, and Hungary, and is also attended by the Minister of the Interior of Republika Srpska, Željko Budimir.
“At the Saint Sava Academy, attended by senior officials of the Hungarian government and numerous guests, Milorad Dodik will be awarded the Order of the ‘Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary for merits to the Serb people,’ in recognition of his decades-long, selfless assistance and support to the Serb community in Hungary.”
Earlier, Trišić Babić and Dodik met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
“We recall that Trišić Babić and Dodik visited Israel last week, during which the Republika Srpska delegation met with the president and prime minister of that country, the speaker of the Knesset, and state ministers.”
“Dodik also announced that at the beginning of next week he will travel to the United States, where he will attend the National Prayer Breakfast, while today the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, is traveling to the U.S.”
