“Speaking with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán means engaging with a leader who understands that peace, stability, and sovereignty are the foundation of every serious state. Our friendship is not protocol-based; it is built on mutual respect, sincerity, and a shared vision of Europe’s future,” SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said after the meeting with Orbán in Budapest.
“Dodik emphasized in a post on the social network X that Hungary today demonstrates it is possible to pursue an independent policy despite pressure, and that the support Orbán enjoys among people across Europe and in Hungary confirms that citizens recognize strength and consistency.”
“His victory in the parliamentary elections will be important not only for Hungary, but for all of us who believe in a Europe of sovereign nations. I am proud of our partnership and confident that in the years ahead we will connect the Serb and Hungarian peoples even more strongly through a policy of peace, development, and mutual respect,” Dodik said.
“Earlier today, Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik met in Budapest with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.”
