“We had a significant visit to Israel, where we were received at the highest state level, and that is something to remember. We saw this not only through official talks, but also through ordinary people and professors, who expressed full support for Republika Srpska,” said SNSD President Milorad Dodik at a press conference.
He said that after these meetings, nothing will be the same for Republika Srpska.
“Meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Israel, the Speaker of Parliament, and ministers were an impressive experience. Although I have extensive experience, this was something more than an ordinary visit, beyond mere protocol,” Dodik said.
Dodik stated that Israeli officials are very clear about the hostile attitude of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s officials toward their state.
“Whatever they do on the international stage, they undermine the legitimacy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Everything they could have done against Israel in recent years, against Jews and Israel, they have done,” Dodik said.
He stressed that Israel has its right to exist and to fight for its freedom.
“Alongside Russia and America, as well as our allies Serbia and Hungary, the visit to Israel is certainly something major. We agreed on many things that will become visible in the period ahead,” Dodik said.
He emphasized that the narrative about the Dayton Peace Agreement, through the engagement of the High Representative and the Constitutional Court, has completely collapsed.
“Look at what they are doing to us. They sentence people who raise three fingers to three years in prison. Now they are seizing the property of the Serb Orthodox Church in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am saddened by the fact that our opposition understands nothing. They will not create Bosnia and Herzegovina as they imagine it, because that state will not exist for much longer,” Dodik said.
Dodik called on the Serb people to oppose the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The Court and the Prosecutor’s Office are a noose around the neck of the Serb people and Republika Srpska. I call on all Serbs in Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to gather into a single front, in a struggle that is no less important than the one in 1991. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is mobilizing all its capacities. When have you heard that this court prosecuted a businessman or a company? They only do that in Republika Srpska,” Dodik said.
