The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, met in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jana K. Lolić Šindelková, with whom he discussed the current political situation in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the process of European integration.
During the meeting, Stevandić emphasized that Republika Srpska is a cooperative partner and a political subject that must be talked with, not talked about, and pointed out that it is necessary for the European Union to adopt a more rational and balanced approach toward peoples and entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stevandić stressed that preserving peace and stability is the most important priority in Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that this is ensured through accelerated economic development. He underlined the need for a clear and concrete EU development agenda, focused on economic growth, infrastructure projects, and sustainable development, emphasizing that Republika Srpska has the political will and significant capacities—especially in the energy and food sectors—which can represent an important part of this process.
