An official meeting was held at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs between the acting President of Republika Srpska, Ana Trivišić Babić, and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
At the entrance to Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the flags of Republika Srpska and Israel were displayed.
The flags of Republika Srpska and Israel were also placed inside the meeting room.
The acting President of Republika Srpska, Ana Trivišić Babić, and Milorad Dodik met yesterday in Jerusalem with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Dodik described the meeting as exceptionally successful, emphasizing the Israeli side’s understanding and support for a return to the original provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu conveyed that Republika Srpska and Israel are lasting friends,” Dodik said.
During the visit, the Republika Srpska delegation also met with Zeev Elkin, a member of the Knesset, as well as with the Russian Ambassador to Israel, Anatoly Viktorov, where the strategic level of cooperation between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation was highlighted. The delegation also visited the grave of Ari Livne in Jerusalem.
The delegation of Republika Srpska also includes Radovan Kovačević, the Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
