Israel has recognized Republika Srpska as a friendly country, said Luciano Kaluža, an expert in international relations, while appearing on our Morning Program.
The delegation of Republika Srpska, led by Acting President Ana Trivić Babić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, is continuing its visit to Israel.
“This is a relationship that shows Israel’s understanding for Republika Srpska, and vice versa. Republika Srpska stood with Israel after civilians were killed by the terrorist organization Hamas. Republika Srpska stood on the side of justice, and we can all see that this is truly a friendly relationship,” Kaluža emphasized.
According to him, for the past 30 years only one narrative has been promoted in the Balkans, specifically in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“There has been talk of only one way Bosnia and Herzegovina functions. The visit of the Republika Srpska delegation is extremely important in the context of information exchange. Israel is one of the few countries in the world that has influence on global developments, and it is important for the voice of Republika Srpska to be heard in such an environment,” Kaluža added.
The visit of the Republika Srpska delegation did not go unnoticed in Albanian media either.
“It was reported in an interesting way that the Republika Srpska delegation had more meetings than the Albanian delegation. That speaks volumes about the relationship between Republika Srpska and Israel, and this relationship did not exist forever. Albania noticed that as well. In talks, primarily with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, political support will be sought, above all to present the true reality and the real situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Israel has certainly noticed this, because none of this would be happening otherwise,” Kaluža concluded.
