Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sent a telegram of condolences to King Felipe VI, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and the people of Spain following a serious railway accident that claimed innocent lives and caused deep sorrow.
“We share the pain of the families who have lost their loved ones and extend our sincerest sympathy to all those who were injured. In these difficult and painful moments, our thoughts are with the citizens of Spain, whose strength, unity, and solidarity are a source of comfort in the face of this great tragedy,” Cvijanović said.
In the railway accident in Spain, in which two trains derailed, at least 39 people were killed, while the number of injured has risen to 73, including 24 in critical condition.
The accident occurred last night in the town of Adamuz, when a train traveling from Málaga to Madrid derailed and entered a neighboring track where a train traveling from Madrid to Huelva was located, causing that train to derail as well.
