Branimir Kojić, president of the Srebrenica Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians, told SRNA that the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the “sick offspring” of the Hague Tribunal and were created solely to prosecute and convict Serbs.
Kojić stressed that the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office against former Army of Republika Srpska General Radislav Krstić — who is already serving a 35-year prison sentence handed down by the Hague Tribunal — is further proof that the judiciary in BiH operates in a one-sided manner.
“Just as they filed multiple indictments against Dragomir Vasić, they are now doing the same to Krstić, which shows they will never stop,” Kojić said.
He stated that the goal is to imprison Serbs and that the new indictment against General Krstić represents an attack not only on him personally, but also on his family and on Republika Srpska.
“In this way they are sending a message to Republika Srpska, and ahead of Republika Srpska Day they want to intensify their narrative that Republika Srpska is a ‘genocidal creation’. This is their way of trying to substantiate that claim,” Kojić said.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Krstić (77), charging him, in his capacity as commander of the Second Romanija Motorized Brigade, with an alleged attack on the Bosniak village of Novoseoci near Sokolac.
The prosecution accuses Krstić of an alleged war crime against the civilian population of Novoseoci.
