Children at the “Pčelica Maja” Kindergarten in Novi Grad celebrated Kindergarten Day together with their teachers. After performing a special programme, the children received traditional St. Nicholas Day gift packages.
The youngest participants worked with their teachers to proudly show parents everything they have learned so far.
The kindergarten currently accommodates 243 children. With support from the municipal administration, its capacities were recently expanded — but the institution now faces a shortage of teachers.
“We prepared a special programme in which the children will present songs, dances and everything they have learned with their teachers,” said Milan Marinčić, director of the “Pčelica Maja” Kindergarten.
The municipal administration provided St. Nicholas Day packages for all children in the kindergarten.
