Free basketball camp in Doboj from 12 to 17 January

Doboj will host a free basketball camp for children from 12 to 17 January 2026, organized in cooperation with KK Best Doboj and promoted by celebrated basketball player Ognjen Kuzmić, who is also one of the event’s organizers.

The camp will gather a large number of children from the local community, as well as 45 children from Kosovo and Metohija, with participants also including members of the Swish Women’s Basketball Academy from Laktaši. The goal of the camp is to develop sports skills, promote healthy lifestyles and teamwork, and connect children through sport — all without any participation fees.

Organizers emphasize that, in addition to the sports component, the camp will have a strong educational and developmental role, with a special focus on discipline, work habits, and mutual respect.

In January 2026, Doboj will become a regional hub for young basketball talent and an example of how sport can bring together children from different backgrounds.

Professional coaching team

Training sessions will be led by experienced basketball coaches: Nevena Gašić-Grablić from the Swish Women’s Basketball Academy, Željko Babić and Ognjen Kuzmić from KK Best, as well as guest coach from Kosovo and Metohija, Ivan Arsić, and Saša Radeljić from KK Best.

Who is Ognjen Kuzmić?
