Bijeljina Music School wins gold at the Graz festival

Students of the “Kornelije Stanković” Music School in Bijeljina achieved remarkable results at the 10th International “Akkordeonfest” in Graz, confirming the quality of work and the dedication of both students and teachers, the school announced.

A special highlight was Nikola Jovanović, who captured the audience’s and jury’s attention by winning first prize as the youngest competitor of the entire festival — only five years old.

Miloš Cvijić was named the winner of the pre-category, while Petar Manojlović took first prize in his category. Filip Kovačević excelled in the fourth category, earning the title of overall winner, and Vladimir Kurtinović triumphed in the first category in the variety program.

All awarded students are from the class of Professor Slaviša Perić, whose dedicated work has been producing champions for years and promoting young musical talent across Europe and the world.

The festival opened with a solo concert by young virtuoso Đorđe Perić, who once again proved why he is regarded as one of the most talented young accordionists today. His performance was the highlight of the opening ceremony, with standing ovations confirming that true artistry knows no age.
