The changes to the Dayton Peace Agreement were carried out by force and against the will of the Serb people, which is why Republika Srpska has the right to use all international mechanisms to protect the status granted to it under that agreement.
This was the key message from the roundtable marking the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement, held in Paris and organised by the Representative Office of Republika Srpska.
Distinguished French historians, professors, and politicians expressed understanding for the position of Republika Srpska and its neocolonial status within the framework of Dayton-era Bosnia and Herzegovina.
