SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said that today, as Banja Luka welcomed Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, it became clear how valuable it is to have a friend who understands the struggle and the path of Republika Srpska.
“Hungary did not abandon us even when the challenges were greatest. That is why today is more than protocol — it is confirmation of true partnership,” Dodik wrote on X.
He expressed gratitude to Szijjártó, who, he said, has shown that Europe also has another face — one that respects nations, tradition, and freedom.
“You are always welcome, our friend. Republika Srpska appreciates you,” Dodik said.
Szijjártó received an honorary doctorate from the University of Banja Luka today at a ceremony held at the Student Cultural Center.
