The exhibition “Polyptych of Sensuality” by artist Jelena Grubor opened this evening at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center in Banja Luka.
Grubor said that the exhibition features 49 large-format graphics accompanied by sketches, as well as her prose and poetic texts.
“The texts are inspired by places of sensuality that inspire me — spaces where the visual and the olfactory meet,” Grubor told reporters.
She added that visitors also had the opportunity to enjoy accompanying piano compositions performed by Professor Dinko Blagojević, which were inspired by the exhibition itself.
Jelena Grubor is an artist and designer, as well as an associate professor at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka. In her work, she explores the relationship between visual expression, scent, and space, merging classical and digital techniques into compositions that examine the boundaries between art and design, and between sensory and intellectual experience.
