UN Security Council on the situation in BiH over the past six months

The United Nations Security Council will today discuss the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past six months and is expected to extend the mandate of the EUFOR Althea mission for another year.

According to information from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in BiH, Christian Schmidt will not attend the session.

From Republika Srpska comes the message that Russia’s presidency of the Security Council will ensure that the voice of Srpska is heard in New York.

In the Report of the Government of Republika Srpska submitted to the Security Council, it is stated that the international community should unequivocally reject attempts to remove President Milorad Dodik from political life, as he is being prosecuted on the basis of an incrimination unilaterally imposed by Schmidt, which, as underlined in the report, has no legal validity.
