“I am grateful to U.S. President Donald Trump and his associates for correcting a great injustice done to Republika Srpska, its representatives, and their families — an injustice created by the Obama and Biden administrations,” said President Milorad Dodik.
He emphasized that the decision to lift sanctions is not only a legal act but also a moral rehabilitation of the truth about Republika Srpska and all those who serve it honorably.
“Once again, it has been proven that everything said against us was lies and propaganda — the very foundation of the disorder created by Christian Schmidt, a disorder that now must be cleaned up.
To those who rejoiced and believed those lies, I can forgive everything except the years we lost because they thought Republika Srpska would fall. Today it is clear — it will never fall,” Dodik wrote on X.
