The Second Festival of Domestic Rakija, titled “Rakije Srpske,” has officially opened in Trn near Laktaši.
More than 40 registered distilleries from Republika Srpska, along with local producers from the food industry, are taking part in the event.
The organizers of the festival are the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, and the City of Laktaši.
Prime Minister Savo Minić emphasized that the Government of Republika Srpska and the competent ministry have invested over 10 million KM in recent years in subsidies for technological equipment and other essential needs of the industry.
Deputy Mayor of Laktaši Darko Stanković added that the city has always strived to be a reliable partner:
“We have once again supported the work of the Association, and we will always work to assist our producers and organizers. This event is a source of pride for all of us — both for Laktaši and for Republika Srpska,” Stanković said.
