Member of the SNSD Main Board Mladen Milić said that in the coming days and weeks everyone will clearly see how far ahead President Milorad Dodik thinks, taking statesmanlike and political steps to defend, stabilize, and strengthen Republika Srpska.
“Blinded by their desire for power, the opposition in Republika Srpska—using any means necessary—intended to be installed without elections, with the help of political and other opponents of Republika Srpska,” Milić stated.
He added that the opposition, instructed by the adversaries of Republika Srpska, rejected everything offered to them — not by voting against, in a principled and dignified way as true opposition parties do around the world — but by continuously walking out of the parliamentary chamber.
“Instead of voting to withdraw all imposed laws adopted earlier as a result of the politically fabricated and unconstitutional judicial process against the President of Republika Srpska and the director of the Official Gazette, the opposition once again walked to the parliament restaurant,” Milić said.
“And now those same people are making noise everywhere they can, accusing the government of not knowing what it is doing. Politics is not just a raw desire to seize power by any means; it means much more. One must follow global developments, have a clear position, represent the interests of their voters, always have at least three moves prepared in advance depending on the situation — and above all, love their homeland,” he emphasized.
Milić assessed that President Dodik is masterfully playing a chess game against multiple opponents attacking from all sides, taking moves that many initially perceived as desperate but which have preserved the stability of both the presidency and Republika Srpska through a well-planned strategy.
“As a result, on the political battlefield, a gradual final struggle is underway against political and every other adversary. One by one, they will disappear from the political scene,” Milić said.
He stressed that checkmate is inevitable in this match and that the only question that remains is the speed of Dodik’s moves and the disappearance of most of the opposition from the political landscape of Republika Srpska.
“Perhaps this explains the attempt by the SS movement to mislead the citizens and patriots of Republika Srpska into believing that it represents a completely new political force that had no role or knowledge of what has been happening in the past. Anyone can be fooled once, maybe even twice — but the people cannot,” Milić stated.
He pointed out that the people of Republika Srpska know who fought for it, who never gave up for a single moment, and who sacrificed personal comfort to preserve Republika Srpska together with patriots and the nation.
“In the coming days, we should watch the next moves and contribute to the final act of President Dodik’s brilliant game — another key victory for the survival and strengthening of Republika Srpska, and the collapse of the opposition’s dreams of seizing power like a house of cards,” Milić concluded.
