The 17th International Actor’s Festival “Zaplet” officially opened in Banja Luka, running from October 19 to 25 under the slogan “I Know Us”.
The opening ceremony took place at the festival’s production home — City Theatre Jazavac — with the premiere of the play “Behind Those Eyes”, written and directed by Nebojša Ilić.
In addition to its main competition program featuring guest performances from across the region, this year’s festival includes a rich accompanying program: actor roundtables, an art exhibition, and informal gatherings designed to enrich the city’s cultural scene.
Festival organizers announced that audiences will enjoy a diverse repertoire of performances in the coming days, as well as various off-stage events offering additional opportunities for interaction and artistic exchange.
